ABUJA—VICE President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday debunked the allegation that he had give up his place as Vice President, saying that there was no iota of reality within the allegation.


Some social media platforms had on Wednesday printed that Prof. Osinbajo had thrown within the towel because the Vice President as a result of he was allegedly sidelined from the safety assembly President Muhammadu Buhari had with Service Chiefs and head of safety companies in addition to three governors from the north on Tuesday on the State Home, Abuja.

However the Vice President in an announcement by his spokesperson, Laolu Akande described the purported resignation as pretend information and deliberate propaganda.

Akande within the assertion mentioned, “Opposite to the pretend information in circulation yesterday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has not resigned his place within the Buhari administration.”

 

He mentioned that Prof. Osinbajo in a gathering with younger Christian leaders in Lagos on Wednesday evening, personally debunked the purported resignation being circulated on some social media platforms. 

He dismissed the false data as deliberate propaganda. 

 

Akande within the assertion quoted the Vice President as saying, “They’re deliberate propaganda. Right now (Wednesday), they’ve been spreading some data round that I’ve resigned. They mentioned I didn’t attend a safety assembly yesterday. I used to be too busy in my workplace. 

“The identical safety folks have been assembly with me that very same night. Should I attend each assembly? Can’t the President maintain a gathering with the safety chiefs with out me? They mentioned I used to be so offended that they didn’t carry me to that assembly, that I used to be excluded, then I resigned! I’ve not resigned.”

 

The Osinbajo’s spokesman mentioned that in continuation of the Subsequent Stage engagements, the Vice President visited Ikeja, Lagos State, the place he met with the Hausa group.
