Striking new selfies from the InSight lander on Mars / Boing Boing

Since the InSight robot lander touched down on Mars ultimate week, engineers were hanging its clinical tools via their paces. This incorporated extending the lander’s 6 foot (2 meter) robot arm that shall be used to deploy tools and take photographs of the Martian floor.

“Today we can see the first glimpses of our workspace,” stated venture fundamental investigator Bruce Banerdt of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

People, those photographs are from the skin of Mars! MARS!
