The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised an alarm over the common adjustments of Commissioners of Police in Bayelsa State.
National Publicity Secretary of the celebration, Mr Kola Ologbodinyan, said this whilst addressing a information convention on Friday in Abuja, the country’s capital.
He alleged that the action via the police hierarchy was once a ploy to compromise security within the state and pave the way in which for rigging within the normal elections in 2019.
“Eight different (police) commissioners have been brought in and taken out with a span of three months,” Ologbodinyan famous.
According to him, one of the police commissioners posted to Bayelsa spent not up to one week before they have been posted out of the state.
The PDP spokesman warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government against actions that may compromise the security of the state forward of the imminent polls.
He wired, “Our party is saying that they should not create a confusion that they will not be able to manage.”
“It may interest Nigerians to know that in its desperation, the APC has influenced the Inspector General of Police into posting eight different Commissioners of Police to Bayelsa State within the space of the last three months,” Ologbodinyan alleged.
