Nigerian Air Force foils main terrorists assault on troopers at Gudumbali, Damasak



The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) stated its Air Task Forces on counter-insurgency operations within the North East have averted a serious assault on areas of troopers of the Nigerian Army by terrorists at Gudumbali and Damasak in Borno State.

NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, who made this identified in an announcement, stated that however for the fast intervention of its fighter jets, the terrorists, who had been halfway between troopers’ areas at Metele and Arege, would have engaged the bottom troops on one other fierce battle.
