Ghanaian defender Roy Boateng has joined New York Red Bulls after the MLS Super Draft in Chicago on Friday.
Boateng, a 6-foot-2 central defender, was chosen with the 16th general choose.
His stalwart shows earned him back-to-back Big West Conference Defender of the Year honors with UC Davis.
Boateng had a significant function in serving to anchor the Glens’ again line throughout their first season within the USL Premier Development League, now referred to as USL League Two.
