A Schenectady, N.Y., contractor has been convicted of first-degree murder in a scheme to kill a man for lifestyles insurance coverage cash.
A jury convicted 54-year-old Tarchand Lall on Wednesday for hiring hit males from Delaware to kill Charles Dembrosky, who did building paintings for him. Dembrosky was once shot to death in November 2016.
Joevany Luna of Wilmington, Delaware, is serving a lifestyles sentence for killing Dembrosky. Kyshaan Moore is serving a 25-year jail sentence for using Luna to Schenectady from Delaware for the crime.
Prosecutors say Lall was once the beneficiary of Dembrosky’s $150,000 lifestyles insurance coverage policy.
The jury acquitted Lall on fees that he attempted to have a possible witness within the case killed.
Lall faces lifestyles in jail with out parole when he’s sentenced in February.
