The 41-year-old stated the assailant ran up and hit him in a totally unprovoked assault earlier than fleeing the scene. “He took nothing.
“He was only a racist.”
Mr Nawaz has reported the incident to police and stated there have been witnesses to the assault.
He added: “The police have his face on CCTV.
“My brow will most likely be scarred for all times.
“However we’ll discover you, you racist coward, and you’ll face British justice.”
The LBC radio presenter tweeted a photograph of a punch wound to his brow and stated he was racially abused after which hit within the face with.
The Met Police stated it was referred to as to a report of a racially aggravated assault at 7.10pm GMT.
A spokesperson stated the suspect had fled the scene in Dean Road earlier than officers arrived.
No arrests have been made and an investigation has been launched, the power added.
