The Kano State House of Assembly has set up a seven-man committee to examine the authenticity of the alleged video clip of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje receiving bribe from a contractor as printed through an internet newspaper final week.  

 

The committee used to be constituted following a movement of pressing public significance filed through the member representing Warawa constituency, Labaran Abdul Madari, seconded through the member representing Kano municipal constituency, Baffa Babba Danagundi.    

 

Madari identified that the Assembly has the mandate to examine any topic relating to the state aimed toward making sure peace and unity in the state. Speaking all the way through the plenary consultation, the majority chief, Baffa Babba Danagundi, prompt the govt arm of govt to halt the submitting of a case before a courtroom of regulation on the alleged video clip through the on-line medium.  

 

Baffa stated the state Assembly has the constitutional mandate to examine the factor. The topic used to be deliberated upon on the ground of the area presided over through the speaker, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum.
