The Kano State House of Assembly has set up a seven-man committee to examine the authenticity of the alleged video clip of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje receiving bribe from a contractor as printed through an internet newspaper final week.
The committee used to be constituted following a movement of pressing public significance filed through the member representing Warawa constituency, Labaran Abdul Madari, seconded through the member representing Kano municipal constituency, Baffa Babba Danagundi.
Madari identified that the Assembly has the mandate to examine any topic relating to the state aimed toward making sure peace and unity in the state.
