The Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, was on Thursday hit by a brief energy outage which affected the D Wing of the terminal.
General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, mentioned the facility disruption was brought on by a minor electrical fault.
Yakubu mentioned: “FAAN needs to tell most people of a brief energy outage on the D Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
“The outage is because of a minor electrical fault.
“Meanwhile, our engineers are already working to rectify the fault and normalcy shall be restored quickly.’’
She, nonetheless, defined that the outage didn’t have an effect on flight operations on the nation’s busiest airport.
Yakubu mentioned that FAAN remained dedicated to the security and luxury of travellers always.
