Durham police search for missing fisherman in Lake Scugog

Durham police are for a 2d day looking for a 31-year-old Toronto fisherman who went missing in Lake Scugog on Monday.

Police mentioned emergency services and products have been known as to Centre Road and Crozier Lane on Scugog Island a few boater in misery at round 5:20 p.m.

Police mentioned Phong Vu was once on my own in his canoe on the time it capsized. Witnesses discovered the empty canoe and known as police.

“The water was rough. It looks like the canoe capsized and the gentleman was not wearing a life jacket,” Sgt. Mark Glionna mentioned.

Members of Durham Regional Police North Division, along side the Marine Unit and Air1, are a part of the search group.
