Chelsea’s prime 4 possibilities boosted by worldwide benefit over Arsenal, Man United and Spurs

Chelsea’s players will be travelling less this international break than any of their top four rivals.

As the end of the season fast approaches, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will be looking for any potential advantage they may have over one another in the race for a Champions League place.

Fortunately for the Blues, the international break has given them one.

Chelsea players heading out on international duty are set to travel 24,140 miles between them.

Arsenal’s players have the next biggest cumulative journey at 30,695 miles followed by Manchester United with 36,072 miles.

None of those clubs’ players, however, face as gruelling a week as those of Tottenham.

Spurs’ players will be travelling a combined 63,782 miles between them this international break.

Club Miles
Tottenham Hotspur 63,782
West Ham 44,468
Liverpool 43,468
Everton 42,242
Wolverhampton Wanderers 36,727
Manchester United 36,072
Newcastle United 35,049
Fulham 32,631
Arsenal 30,695
Crystal Palace 26,985
Manchester City 24,487
Chelsea 24,140
Leicester City 22,175
Bournemouth 20,735
Brighton and Hove Albion 20,216
Cardiff City 17,383
Burnley 16,043
Southampton 15,890
Huddersfield Town 12,476

That’s by far the most of any Premier League club.

The distances have been calculated as a round trip from each player’s home ground, to the stadiums where their national team will play and back again.
