Axa Venture Partners raises $150 million early-stage fund – TechCrunch


Axa Venture Partners, the enterprise capital arm of insurance coverage firm Axa, is elevating an early-stage fund. Today’s new $150 million fund (€130 million) is known as AVP Early Stage II.

Previously, Axa Venture Partners had raised a $110 million early-stage fund again in 2015. So far, it has invested in 40 companies, such as Hackajob, K4Connect, Futurae or Zenjob and Happytal.

When it involves funding technique, Axa Venture Partners plans to put money into early startups primarily based in Europe, North America and Israel with this new fund. The agency will make investments as a lot as $6 million per firm.
